4. Slide a compression sleeve onto the cord and press firmly onto the glue, covering the knot in the thread. Add 2 additional compression sleeves to this end of the cord, then repeat to add the remaining three compression sleeves to the other side of the necklace.

5. After adding a drop of glue into each cord end, slide the 6mm barrel cord ends onto each end of the cord and allow to dry according to glue directions.

6. Open your jump rings by using two sets of pliers to grab on either side of the seam in the ring. Twist the pliers and ends of the jump rings away from each other in a north-south motion. Attach the jump rings to each of the barrel cord ends, adding a clasp to one side. Then close each ring by twisting the ends back toward each other so the ends of the ring are flush.
